METHODS OF PAYMENT

 

All Orders must be paid prior to dispatch. We accept most major credit / debit cards, such as SOLO / ELECTRON / MAESTRO / VISA (credit and debit) / MASTERCARD but NOT American Express. The information we require is the card holder’s name and address (Billing Address), delivery address (if different from billing address), card number, security code and expiry date. In the case of Switch cards, issue number is also required. We also take Payment by PAYPAL to formulaoneregister@gmail.com. Payment can also be made by cheque made payable to “FORMULA ONE REGISTER”. For overseas customers including EIRE, cheques should be made payable in £ Sterling (including Euro cheques) but only if drawn on a UK or Irish Bank. We can also accept bank transfers in £ Sterling.

 

PLACING AN ORDER IF NOT WISHING TO USE THE INTERNET

 

Once you have made your choice, simply use the Order Form and make a list of the items you wish to order stating quantity, title and price. Then send your order together with your payment and delivery details to us at:

DELIVERY TIMES

 

Subject to availability, we normally aim to process and despatch all orders within 2 to 5 working days, except when the Formula One Register office is closed for holidays.

UK Orders are normally sent using a tracked courier signed-for service with a 2 to 4 day delivery from despatch. If you require faster delivery please contact us to agree an alternative. This may incur extra charges.

Non-UK Orders will be sent either Airmail or Courier at our discretion. Delivery times are typically within 7 working days of despatch but cannot be guaranteed.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ORDERED ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?

If an ordered item is currently unavailable, we will advise you of its status, whether it is temporarily out of stock, reprinting or out-of-print and indicate time scales of expectancy whenever possible. Once the item is available again, we will contact you immediately, indicating any price difference and advise the condition if it is an out of print item. Should we not receive a reply within 7 days, we will assume the item is no longer required and subsequently cancel the order.

 

PRINT TO ORDER BOOKS

 

It is our intention to make copies of our Records available to those who are interested where the publication of a book cannot be commercially justified.  These records are working documents subject to continual amendments and additions, so we print and bind each order individually from the latest version of the records. They are supplied hard-bound in black covers in the general style of our other publications, but customers should be aware that the standard of production may be a little below professionally printed standards and that indexing is generally very basic. Also, because of the need to format and print the records it will generally take two to three weeks to dispatch the order. We will advise you of expected timescales.

 

RETURNING GOODS:

 

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, there is a 10 day limit in which you may return the goods, which must be received back in as good a condition as when received by you. Please contact us prior to doing so, in order that we may advise you of the correct procedure. Please note postage will only be reimbursed if the item being returned was sent in error, received in a damaged condition due to inadequate packaging (great care is taken in our packaging ensuring safe delivery, and very rarely do parcels arrive damaged due to our neglect) or found to be faulty. Postage will not be reimbursed if the item being returned was ordered in error or by reason of disappointment in its content.
